Miracle in Cell No. 7

OK, I have to admit that it was “a mistake” watching this kind of movie on a rainy afternoon. Luckily I was alone in my room, so nobody would see me held my breath for a moment when little Ye-sung, acted perfectly by Gal So-won, is bowing to her-intellectually-impaired-father and says, “Thank you for being my daddy.”

In short, it is a comedy and melodrama movie. It is about a man, who is sentenced to death and has to be in a prison for a crime that he has never done. Consequently, he has to be separated from his lovely daughter and leaves her to the orphanage.

Actually it is a secret; but it is revealed that my wife, Keukeu Kaisah, was crying so hard when watching the movie. Even when we were discussing it on the phone, she was still angry to the man’s lawyer and the commission general. She said, “It is not fair!” LOL.

All in all, it is really a recommended movie. Its IMDB rating is also not quite bad; 7.7. Along with Speedy Scandal and My Sassy Girl, they are the best Korean movies that I have ever watched.
